ARRIVAL TO LIMA:

Day 1 LIMA

Arrival at Lima airport, you will be transferred to your chosen hotel located in the lively and safe neighborhood of Miraflores.
Explore the vibrant city of Lima, the capital of Peru, where rich history meets dynamic modernity. Take a stroll through the UNESCO World Heritage-listed historic center, with its impressive squares and colonial churches Admirez les vues côtières époustouflantes depuis le quartier de Miraflores et découvrez l’ambiance bohème de Barranco, célèbre pour ses galeries d’art et ses cafés charmants. Jour 2 LIMA – AREQUIPA

Morning at leisure

L’après-midi, départ pour l’aéroport pour prendre un vol pour Arequipa, deuxième ville du Pérou.

Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel located in the historic center.

Day 3 AREQUIPA

In the morning, you will explore Arequipa, including the historic district of Yanahuara, the viewpoint of Carmen Alto overlooking the city and its three volcanoes, the colonial center with the cloisters of the Company, the market, and the Santa Catalina Monastery, one of the largest religious buildings in Peru.

Afternoon at leisure.

Day 4 COLCA CANYON

Departure to the Colca Canyon Departure to the Colca Canyon. You will ascend to the altiplano and cross the Aguada Blanca National Reserve, located at 4000 meters above sea level, where you will encounter vicuñas, llamas, alpacas, and perhaps viscachas. Then, you will ascend to 4900 meters, the highest point of your journey in Peru, before descending to Chivay (at 3500 meters) in the Colca Valley for lunch (not included). After lunch, you can take a short high-altitude acclimatization walk to reach the thermal pools, where the water temperature reaches nearly 40°C.

Day 5 PUNO

Early in the morning, depart for the Condor Cross viewpoint following the valley. Here, you will have a breathtaking view of the Colca Canyon and the river over 1000 meters below With luck, you may witness the slow and majestic flight of the condors. This will undoubtedly be one of the highlights of your journey in Peru!
In the afternoon, depart for Puno on a 4-5 hour journey by tourist bus through the altiplano and its endless landscapes. Arrival to Puno, city located on the shores of Lake Titicaca in the late afternoon and transfer to the hotel.

Jour 6 : SOCCA

The surroundings of Socca, with their hiking trails and breathtaking views of the surrounding valleys, invite adventure and discovery. A visit to Socca promises a return to basics and an immersion in Andean authenticity. Enjoy a picnic by the lake, then in the early afternoon, return to Puno. Overnight at the hotel.

 

Day 7 : CUSCO

In the morning, depart by tourist bus to Cuzco. You will make a first stop in Pukara, where the first civilization of the altiplano developed, long before the Incas. Next, you will pass through the La Raya pass, at 4370 meters above sea level, where you will leave the altiplano to descend into the Vilcanota Valley. In the afternoon, you will visit the Inca site of Raqchi as well as the village and church of Andahuaylillas. In the late afternoon, arrive in Cuzco, the ancient capital of the Incas and arguably the most beautiful city in Peru. Transfer and check-in to your hotel in the historic center of Cuzco.

 

Day 8 : SACSAYHUAMAN

Avec ses vestiges incas et son architecture coloniale, Cuzco est certainement l’un des aimants d’un voyage au Pérou. In the morning, depart by vehicle to the heights of Cuzco, where you will have a panoramic view of the city. You will then visit Sacsayhuaman, an impressive Inca construction with titanic stones, before descending on foot through the streets of the San Blas neighborhood. Along the way, you can observe the ancient Inca walls and the famous 12-angle stone. You will traverse the historic center of the city and its main squares until you reach the San Pedro Market, to immerse yourself in the Andean atmosphere of Cuzco. The afternoon is free to enjoy the charm of this beautiful city. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 9: SACRED VALLEY

 

In the morning, you leave by private vehicle to the sacred valley of the Incas to visit the Inca city of Pisaq, one of the most extensive and spectacular. The village of Pisaq is also famous for its artisanal market, one of the largest in Peru. After lunch, you’ll explore the Inca terraces of Moray and the salt ponds of Maras, where salt is still harvested in an artisanal manner. You finish with a visit to the Inca fortress of Ollantaytambo. Overnight at the hotel.

 

Day 10 MACHU PICCHU

In the morning, you take the train to Aguas Calientes, from where a bus will take you to the Machu Picchu site. Machu Picchu is undoubtedly the highlight of any trip to Peru, and its title as one of the wonders of the world is well deserved. The beauty of the Inca constructions harmonizes with that of nature. You will have several hours to explore the site. n the afternoon, the shuttle takes you back to Aguas Calientes for the return journey to Cuzco by train. Arrival in the late evening. Overnight at the hotel

 

Day 11 CUZCO – LIMA OUT

Departure to the airport for a flight to Lima. End of your trip.
