Day 1: Santa Cruz
Arrival to Santa Cruz and transfer to the hotel.
Welcome to Santa Cruz, Bolivia’s bustling metropolis where tradition meets modernity in a captivating blend of culture, history, and urban energy. Our city tour invites you to explore the vibrant streets, immerse yourself in local traditions, and discover the hidden gems that make Santa Cruz a truly unforgettable destination.
Plaza 24 de Septiembre: Our journey begins at the heart of Santa Cruz, Plaza 24 de Septiembre, where colonial charm meets contemporary life. Marvel at the elegant façade of the Cathedral of Santa Cruz, a symbol of the city’s rich heritage, and soak in the lively atmosphere of this bustling square as locals and visitors alike go about their day.
Casa de la Cultura: Delve into the cultural tapestry of Santa Cruz at Casa de la Cultura, a hub of creativity and expression. Explore vibrant exhibitions showcasing the region’s art, history, and traditions, and engage with local artists as they share their stories and talents.

Day 2 : Santa Cruz – Sucre
Transfer to Santa Cruz Airport.

Transfer from Sucre Airport.
Your first stop on your tour of Sucre will be the Recoleta viewpoint, which offers panoramic views across the city. Next you will visit the textile museum, where the different types of Andean textiles are exhibited and explained, as well as the weaving techniques from pre-Hispanic times to the present day. You will then walk back down to the central square, where the main colonial buildings in the city are located, before visiting the Casa de La Libertad, where the country’s independence was proclaimed, which has now become a museum about Bolivia’s history.

Day 3 : Sucre – Hacienda Cayara – Potosi
Departure to the Hacienda Cayara, whose origins date back to the year 1557. Did you know it was the first hacienda built in Bolivia?
Currently, the estate also operates as a hostel and houses a museum. We will learn about its fascinating history by visiting the mansion and its rooms filled with valuable objects. Additionally, we will appreciate the beautiful paintings that adorn its rooms, as well as admire its colonial architecture.
Next, we will pass by a cave where we will contemplate cave paintings, and we will make a stop for a box lunch
Finally, we will continue to Potosí, where we will arrive around 4:00 p.m.

Day 4 : Potosi – Uyuni
The visit to Potosí and the Money Museum offers a fascinating dive into the rich and tumultuous history of this iconic mining town in Bolivia.
Inside the museum, you’ll also have the opportunity to learn more about the coin-making process during the colonial era, as well as the techniques used by miners to extract silver from the depths of the earth. The interactive exhibits and well-preserved artifacts offer a captivating glimpse into the daily lives of miners and the economic significance of Potosí throughout the ages.
We explore the cobbled streets of Potosí, steeped in a colonial atmosphere, where baroque churches and historic buildings testify to the city’s past opulence. Take a stroll through the city center to admire the magnificent architecture and feel the lively atmosphere of this historically rich city.

Day 5 : Uyuni – Lagoons
In the morning for a departure to the beautiful lagoons of Cañapa, Hedionda, Chiarcota, Honda, Ramadita, where you can see flamingos. On the road, visit of the cemetery of trains. Then you cross the Siloli desert with a stop at the “Stone Tree” and have lunch on the way. At the end of the afternoon, you will arrive at the Laguna Colorada with an almost unreal red color

Day 6: Laguna Colorada – San Juan
Very early in the morning, you start the day with a visit to the “Geysers of the Morning Sun”, a magnificent natural spectacle at 4900 meters altitude. You then go to the thermal baths of Polques where you can swim in thermal pools. Continue to Laguna Verde and Laguna Blanca, with an impressive view of the Licancabur Volcano, then cross the Dali Desert. On the way back, you will pass by the Valley of the Rocks where you will appreciate the gigantic rocks in fantastic forms.

Day 7 : San Juan – Uyuni
In the morning, you will set off to the Uyuni Salt Flats. Your vehicle will then venture onto that immense sea of salt, and drive over to the “Isla Incahuasi”, located 50 miles into the Salt Flats. From the top of this surprising “island” you will have stunning views across the Salt Flats and the Thunupa volcano, in the middle of giant cacti. You will have your picnic there, and will no doubt enjoy some surprising optical illusions and perspective games in this unique scenery. You will then stop by the Colchani village, on the edge of the Salt Flats, where salt is still exploited using traditional methods..

Day 8: Uyuni – La Paz
Transfer to Uyuni and Transfer to Uyuni Airport.

This La Paz city tour will take you around a capital city nestled in a surreal backdrop, at an altitude ranging from 13,000 to 10,500 feet. At the lower end of the city, you will start by visiting the Moon Valley, a canyon where the persistent erosion of the mountain rocks has created a maze containing hundreds of “fairy chimneys”, giant spires and pitons. Your next stop will be the historical center, where the presidential palace is located, as well as the parliament and other buildings dating back to the colonial era. You will also take the cableway that goes up to El Alto to enjoy a magnificent panoramic view of the city and then, you will end this tour with a visit of the “witches market”.

Day 9: La Paz – Palca
Excursion to the Palca Canyon: In the morning, you will set off by private vehicle for a one-hour drive over to the east of La Paz. You will then walk along country roads for a 2-3 hour walk, during which you will be able to admire the landscapes of this fertile valley, the typical multicolored rock formations, mount Illimani (21,000 ft) and the canyon, which you will cross in order to reach the village of Palca.
After your packed lunch, you will return to La Paz in the afternoon.

Day 10 : La Paz – Tiwanaku – Copacabana
Private transport from La Paz to Copacabana (6 hours). On the way, you’ll make a stop at the Tiwanaku archeological site, which was once the political and spiritual center of a civilization which preceded the Incas.

Jour 11 : Copacabana – Ile du Soleil
Discover the Mystique of Sun Island. Embark on a journey to the legendary Sun Island (Isla del Sol), a place steeped in myth and history, nestled amidst the shimmering waters of Lake Titicaca. As one of the most sacred sites in Inca mythology, this enchanting island beckons travelers with its ancient ruins, breathtaking vistas, and spiritual ambiance.
Our adventure begins as we set sail across the azure waters of Lake Titicaca, the highest navigable lake in the world. Feel the gentle breeze caress your skin as we cruise towards the fabled Sun Island, tracing the footsteps of ancient civilizations.
As we approach the shores of Sun Island, the majesty of the landscape unfolds before us. Cliffs rise dramatically from the water, adorned with terraced fields and scattered ruins, evoking a sense of timeless grandeur. Delve into the island’s rich history as we explore the archaeological wonders scattered along its trails.
Marvel at the remnants of Inca temples, ceremonial platforms, and sacred fountains, each echoing with the whispers of a bygone era. Lunch with a View: Pause for a moment of tranquility as we enjoy a delicious lunch overlooking the shimmering waters of Lake Titicaca.
Savor traditional Andean flavors infused with the bounty of the land, accompanied by the serene beauty of our surroundings.
You’ll visit their island and its museum,
before setting off on a 4-5 hour hike (around 5 miles, just over a 800-foot altitude difference). After visiting the Chincana ruins, you’ll walk along the ridges which offer stunning views over the Lake, before arriving in the Yumani community, in the southern part of the island.

Jour 12 : Ile du Soleil – Copacabana
In the morning, you’ll visit the Pilkokaina ruins, as well as exploring the southern part of the island, with its viewpoint, its coves and its little village, with offers some lovely sunny terraces overlooking Lake Titicaca.
Return to Copacabana in the late morning.

Day 13 : Copacabana – La Paz
Private transport to La Paz (around 3 hours).

Day 14 : La Paz – Santa Cruz OUT
Transfer to the airport. Flight from La Paz to Santa Cruz. Recommended flight: Air Europa.
