Departure from Copacabana by private boat with your French-speaking guide towards the south of the Island of the Sun and visit the Inca temple “Pilkokaina”. <\/span><\/p>\n

Take a walk through the beautiful gardens of Yumani to the sacred water source before descending the impressive Inca-era staircase.<\/span><\/p>\n

Continue to the Island of the Moon (or Koati), which was a sacred place for Inca culture. Climb through the different terraced crops and arrive at the Temple of the Virgins of the Sun. Girls aged 13 to 17 lived in this temple and were chosen for their beauty, trained to serve the god “Wiracocha”, the Sun god. Visit and continue to the community.<\/span><\/p>\n
