Day 1 : Cuzco<\/p>\n

Arrival in Cuzco<\/a> and transfer to the hotel.<\/p>\n

Guided tour to discover the marvelous pre-Hispanic and colonial heritage of the historical capital of Peru. To bring you closer to Peruvian culture, we will introduce you to important sites such as the Koricancha. In the Quechua language, this means “golden enclosure”: it was once the Temple of the Sun.<\/p>\n

Next, you will visit the Plaza de Armas (Main Square) and the Cusco Cathedral, where you can see beautiful local sculptural and pictorial works. In the afternoon, we will leave the center to explore the surroundings of the city. You will be able to see the archaeological remains of the Sacsayhuaman fortress, the Puka Pukara watchtower, Kenko, and the ancient Inca water cult site: Tambomachay. At the end of the visit, around 6:30 PM, you will be taken back to the hotel where you can have dinner and rest until the next day.<\/p>\n

Day 2 : Machu Picchu<\/p>\n

After breakfast at the hotel in Cusco, we will embark on one of the must-have experiences<\/a> for anyone visiting Peru. To do this, we will take a train and travel through the Andean landscape to the town of Aguas Calientes. Here, we will board a bus that will take us along a winding road to the top of the mountain. We will then begin a short hike to reach our destination: Machu Picchu<\/a>.<\/p>\n

We will walk through the narrow streets and passages of this ancient Inca city, built in the middle of the Andes Mountains at over 2400 meters above sea level. It is listed among the seven wonders of the modern world a truly fascinating place!<\/p>\n

After a guided tour of about two and a half hours, we will give you some free time to fill your camera with magnificent memories. We will return to Cusco by bus and train. <\/p>\n
