The culture of Tiwanaku dates back to 1500 BC in its beginnings and 1200 BC. He contemplates 3 periods in the evolution of his culture which are: the Villager period, Urban and Expansive, the journey is by asphalt road and takes about 2 hours from the city of La Paz. It is located at an altitude of 3845 m.<\/p>\n

Tiwanaku was a culture that has demonstrated its vast knowledge in architecture, agriculture, astronomy, ceramics which allowed it to be named by UNESCO as cultural heritage of humanity in 2000.<\/p>\n

We start the visit by the museum where we will appreciate the evolution of Tiwanaku in different areas, we continue to the archaeological site and its main ceremonial centers: The Pyramid of Akapana, Semi-underground Temple, Temple of Kalasasaya, The Sun Gate and we end up at Puma Punku.<\/p>\n
